FRANCISCAN INSTITUTE FOR ASIAN THEOLOGICAL STUDIES

PRESENTATION

The Franciscan Institute for Asian Theological Studies or FIATS is a research institution within the Pontifical Theological Faculty of St Bonaventure (Rome). It aims to coordinate, encourage and promote reflection on the Christian life of faith and Franciscan spirituality in Asia as well as on the dialogue between the various aspects of Christian faith and Asian cultures. FIATS has an International Centre in Rome and collaborators from many Asian countries, including China, India, Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, etc.

This webspace of FIATS wants to offer a Forum for discussion, thought sharing, and mutual enrichment. All are welcome to contribute reflections and also questions concerning living Christian and Franciscan values as Asians and/or in Asia!
